Clean rooms, quiet and family oriented, great pool scene. We met some really nice folks. Staff was great! Pat ( our maid) was a hoot! Very well kept rooms. Grounds were kept very clean. Helpful people at front desk. All around we had a great time. Request a suite in the rear building....you will not be disappointed. Wildwood is a 2.5 hour little jaunt from our home and we go there many times per year. We always stay at different hotels because we like the experience. Daytona has great service and a great staff. Wanna check in early? no problem. Our room was small, smaller than our living room, BUT, it was very clean, nicely furnished and had great water pressure! I was impressed that when we were walking to the lobby to check out a member of the staff saw us and said "are u checking out?" we said yes and he said :"Ok, give me the key and i will take care of it for you" NICE! That's customer service! this is a traditional 2 story motel right downtown, so the good thing is you are not going to pay to park to go on the boardwalk at night… Having stayed at almost every place in Wildwood, I like this place. Unpretentious, clean and right in the heart of it all. Service is great. We called front desk for 2 more pillows...got voice mail, left a message, I went to the bathroom and by the time i got out of the bathroom (2 minutes tops) we had the pillows. This is Joan Holloway. My family stayed with you in July. I just wanted to say thank you. When we checked into our original hotel, we thought our vacation was ruined but the Daytona saved the day. Your place was perfect and we will be regular customers from now on. I also gave you a great review on Trip Advisor. Trust me you earned it. The rooms were clean and the staff was pleasant. Thank you for your hospitality while I was staying at your hotel June 23rd to June 26th. My room (304) was very nice and kept very clean. I saw your maintenance personnel working hard to keep your hotel in good repair and safe for your guests. You should be very proud of your establishment and I hope to return for another stay in the near future. Bob Yager
