DAYTONA INNS “Stay Well”
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL KEEP INFORMATION AS ACCURATE AND UP TO DATE AS POSSIBLE; HOWEVER, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
The safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. We are following State of New Jersey, Cape May County, World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines on how to identify COVID-19 symptoms and mitigate its transmission. We have also partnered with our suppliers to provide our property with industry-standard cleaning and disinfecting supplies. We, at the Daytona, have always had the highest standards of cleanliness and service. We are also training our staff in the latest technology and procedures for disinfection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID19. We are happy to announce our partnership with BIO BLASTING TECHNOLOGIES, a leading manufacturer of hospital grade disinfectant that is not only people friendly but Earth friendly as well and MADE IN THE USA! Their top of the line disinfectant sprayers will be utilized in all guestrooms and outdoor touchpoints to ensure the highest level of guest safety.
Reservations:
Our mission is to make travel stress-free for all, and that becomes especially important during these times of uncertainty. That’s why, with your needs in mind, we've created the "Stay Well Policy”, so you can book your trip with confidence.
-
If you need to cancel reservations that were made before May 1, 2020, you can move 100% of your deposit for a future date. You can rest assured that your deposit is transferrable (without fees or penalty) to any date in 2020 or 2021 (restrictions may apply, based on availability. Move can be made one time only).
-
For bookings made by a travel agent or online booking platform (Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, etc), guests are advised to contact the agent or booking platform directly.
-
If you still wish to cancel and you booked a reservation (meaning you called to make a reservation with the front desk or you booked on our website before May 1, 2020 for any stay that was to take place during the season), you will be eligible for a 75% refund of your deposit. Simply email us at daytonainn@gmail.com and we will send you a refund form. Please be patient. We are a very small business and it is financially impossible to give everyone a refund at the exact same time. As money comes in to the hotel, it will go out in the form of refunds on a first come first serve basis. You have my word that you will receive a refund if you fill out the form and send it back to us.
-
Any reservations made after May 1, 2020 will not be eligible for a refund of deposit unless the State of New Jersey, Cape May County or the City of Wildwood place a ban on short term rentals.
Check-In Procedure: Virtual & Contactless Check-In process is desirable.
-
You will not be required to wear a mask at any time while you are on the property. That is completely up to each individual and each family member. Please respect each other’s rights to either wear a mask or not. There will be no “mask shaming” tolerated on this private property.
-
Only one reservation party is allowed at any time within the lobby for registration. Other registering parties should wait until the lobby is cleared before entering. Lobby doors are to remain open (depending on weather conditions) to minimize direct contact.
-
Please do not arrive prior to 4 PM for check-in. Your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated should check-in time exceed 4 PM for proper cleaning, disinfecting and inspection of all rooms. If you should arrive before 4 pm, simply contact the front desk at (609) 522-9116 and you will be issued a parking pass. You can use our pool bathroom adjacent to the front desk, to get changed.
-
Please practice social distancing by maintaining 6 feet of separation whenever possible (in home family members not included). With that in mind please call ahead to prepay for your room. If paying in cash please try to bring exact change.
-
Our front desk staff will wear masks at all times, unless they are standing behind our new front desk clear PlexiGlass, safety shield. Staff will clean and disinfect counters and other touch-points between each registering guest party. Disinfected pens are available.
Housekeeping Procedure:
-
All housekeeping staff will wear masks and gloves, and exchange gloves with each room cleaning. Hand sanitizer will also be provided. All staff will wash hands repeatedly throughout their shifts.
-
Cleaning procedures and cleaning solutions follow CDC approved guidelines and recommendations. Additional cleaning procedures will be applied to high touch areas, soft surfaces and electronics.
-
For this season only, daily housekeeping will be limited. Your room will be completely disinfected before you check in using proprietary Bio Blasting disinfectants. Once you are checked in, you can request fresh towels and linens, and trash and recycling to be removed. You can simply call or text the front desk at (609) 522-9116 before 4 pm for service. Leave all dirty linens in a plastic bag along with your trash and recycling and someone will remove them from your front door. A team member will leave fresh towels, toiletries, paper products and extra trash and recycling bags in a plastic bag at your doorstep. You do not need to be inside your room at the time of replacement. Again, please contact the front desk before 5 pm with your requests.
-
Upon conclusion of your stay, please place towels in shower or tub.
-
Due to the current situation we may implement additional processes to protect the safety of our guests and team members. This may result in a reduction in certain services and amenities (such as swimming pool access, BBQ grills, and kitchen equipment) that are normally available at our property. All guests are required to comply with all guidelines and restrictions that are required by state and local health agencies, such as social distancing. If guests have questions or concerns, we ask that you please call or text (609) 522-9116 or email daytonainn@gmail.com
Please stay well and come see us as soon!
Sincerely,
John Donio
